Carolyn is passionate about serving others and helping them live their most meaningful life through financial planning. In a world with so much uncertainty, she strives to be a trusted teammate for clients navigating the complexities of financial planning and investment management.
Education is one of Carolyn's core values — she is continuously learning, whether that's industry knowledge or personal development books. She holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and is both an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Carolyn began her career in 2013 as a tax intern at a firm providing both tax preparation and financial advisory services, and immediately fell in love with the work. Seeing how closely taxes and planning go hand in hand — and being able to provide both — has allowed her to better optimize strategies for clients.
Outside of work, Carolyn and her husband Josh, married since 2018, have two daughters: Mara, born in 2022, and Nelly, born in February 2025. They're joined by a Brittany Spaniel, Winston (who quite possibly has the best hair in the world). The family lives in Brookfield, WI, and owns two rental properties in the Milwaukee area. Carolyn is a big proponent of self-care and prioritizes her mental and physical health daily. You can often find her strength training, playing outside with the girls and Winston, or out on a walk.
