One of Carolyn's core values is education, continuously learning and filling her brain with industry knowledge or reading personal development books. She has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Additionally, she is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Carolyn got her start in the financial advisory world in 2013, working as a tax intern for a firm that provided tax return preparation and financial advisory services to their clients. She immediately fell in love with taxes and financial planning. Seeing how the two go hand in hand and being able to provide both services to clients has allowed her to better optimize planning strategies for clients.
Outside of work, Carolyn has been married to her husband Josh since 2018. They have a Brittany Spaniel, Winston, who has the best hair in the world. They live in Brookfield, WI and own two rental properties in the Milwaukee area. Another one of Carolyn's core value's is self-care, being active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a how she does self-care. You can often find her walking Winston, strength training, or doing Yoga.
