Owner, speaker, and CFP® Practitioner, Kim advises tech professionals, business owners, and their families who aspire to a "Work Optional" lifestyle. Transitioning clients from a "need to work" mindset too a financially independent status where clients work because they enjoy it, not out of necessity, is Kim's sweet spot. With over 25 years in the financial services industry, Kim serves investors by managing their assets from trusts, retirement plans, IRAs, and 401(k)s.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College for Financial Planning. She has served in leadership roles as a KidLead Koach for Lead Young and a network coordinator for Women in Technology International (WITI) Silicon Valley chapter. She was a member of the Class of 2019 Leadership Morgan Hill program and the Class of 2023 G2 Leadership Institute (organized by The Ensemble Practice and sponsored by Fidelity Investments).
Giving back to the financial industry and the community is important to Kim. She has contributed insights to industry white papers (Fidelity Investments’ Journey to the Top; Time for Technology: Fostering Smarter and Stronger Relationships; and Digging into Digital Advice) and is sought after as an industry leader. She enjoys sharing ideas with others participating on panels for Financial Services Institute, Cambridge Investment Research, and The Wharton Club of Northern California, as well as speaking engagements for women in technology. In 2022, Kim was honored with the Spirit of Cambridge award for exemplifying Cambridge's core values: Integrity, Flexibility, Kindness, and Commitment.
When Kim is not working with clients or her teammates, you can most likely find her playing tennis, traveling with family, lounging in the sun with a great novel, cooking, or just hanging out with family and friends.
